How did I get here?

Since forever, I’ve been fascinated with birth, a curiosity that began with watching various episodes of birth TV shows on the early 2000s Discovery Channel, alongside my mom. Those moments sparked an interest in the beauty and power of the birthing process.

However, it wasn’t until I experienced the birth of my own daughter that my perspective deepened. My experience transformed my understanding of how sacred and life-changing birth truly is, and the impact it has on our whole lives. I am passionate about supporting others through their own sacred birth stories, and I am committed to ensuring my families have the opportunity to build a strong foundation for not only labor and birth but postpartum and parenthood.

Through this work I have grown so much as person and I am constantly humbled that I have the opportunity to witness the births of not only babies but couples into parents.

When I am not at a birth, I am probably hanging out with my kiddo, reading, or at the beach (or all of the above). I love to travel (but hate to fly), enjoy hiking, and being outside. I was born in the Midwest and have lived on the East Coast, I moved to San Diego in 2019 and love living here.
